Horses
I love photographing horses. I've just come back from a unique experience photographing the horses of the Camargue. The Camargue horse is an ancient breed of horse indigenous to the Camargue area in southern France. Its origins remain relatively unknown, although it is generally considered one of the oldest breeds of horses in the world. It was a privilege to photograph these magnificent animals.I also spent a week photographing horses, cowboys and cowgirls on a dude ranch in Shell, Wyoming. The dude ranch was called The Hideout and they had about 130 horses there. Many of these photos were taken in the foothills of Big Horn Mountain. With a mix of quarter horses, paints and mustangs, the photography was rich and unique. Many thanks to the Hideout Lodge and Guest Ranch and to John and Cathy Barclay for bringing us there.
